NEW BEGINNINGS

It is difficult not to begin a sentence with the word 'I'. Most people these days are self-centered in a toxic way. Not necessarily destructive to their surrounding company, but definitely hindering creativity and the stimulation of interest. We must stop looking into the mirror, or our selfies, and search for a window to look outside of ourselves. 

The confession is, so many things written here were unfortunately self-centered , and the realisation has finally come that most people don't really care what you have to say about yourself or your problems unless it affects them in some way. So here's to new beginnings. Here's to inspiring people with art and ideas. Because as Eleanor Roosevelt famously said: "Great minds discuss ideas; average minds discuss events; small minds discuss people" (people including ourselves). 

However, it's entirely impossible, and unnecessary, to eradicate the discussion of events and people as that is where ideas generally begin. All that is simply being introduced here is a greater emphasis on ideas.

Date: November 30th. To those living in the Southern Hemisphere it marks the last day of Spring, a season of new beginnings. To myself and my loved ones, my friends and family, it marks the day I turn 20. Leaving behind teen-dom and stepping into a new decade, into my own new beginnings.

Thus November 30th, 2014 will be the date of the production of a new idea. Having always had a passion towards capturing beauty inside a frame, the idea here will lie with the fusion of fashion and photography. Despite not being a new concept, it is definitely one that is lacking on the web scene. There has been far too great of an emphasis on fashion, that photography, an amazing art form, has simply been shoved aside like a sidekick to a hero.

Here on Faceless, photography will be brought back to the limelight and fashion will stand by its side. Together they shall flourish with the ideas they stimulate upon each other. And Faceless shall be its vehicle, where you, as special readers with privileged minds, shall be inspired by the different emotions, locations and ideas fashion and photography will incite.         

And here we shall begin our journey.
