SUMMER ROMANCE

The pursuit of happiness is often confused and intertwined with materialistic pursuits. It's hard not to get caught up in it all in this present society of ours; where dreams consist of fast cars and big fancy houses. Sure, material things do bring us comfort but priorities must not be corrupted. We have to constantly remind ourselves that at the end of it all, we carry nothing else into our deathbeds except the memories we have made in our lifetime. Will you remember that Chanel bag you bought, or will you remember the holiday you took instead?

When brainstorming for locations to share with you all, there is one really iconic location that I managed to almost forget. One of the most beautiful places our city has to offer, South Perth, overlooking the Swan River with a mesmerising full view of the cityscape. Here, the lights reflect off the water like diamonds at night, and in summer the warm night breeze brushes through the hair and kisses the skin. It is hard not to find this place breathtakingly enchanting. Summer nights like these are the wildest ones. It is a romantic Summer affair with the young city.

But good things never last, this Summer fling has to come to an end, or at least a brief halt, as I'm leaving to visit the culturally vibrant, and cold, Eastern world of China. Hopefully I will keep you all updated with amazing editorial inspired work whilst I am there, otherwise follow my footsteps on Instagram*. It's a New Year and new adventures await!
