NOTES

“After silence, that which comes nearest to
 expressing the inexpressible is music.”
- Aldous Huxley

Oh how the beauty of creating music has been forgotten. Surrounded by everyday commitments, striving to achieve big goals, to live the bigger picture... it is easy to forget the simplicity of the emotions that the keys of a piano can inspire. You forget that it is a gift to be able to transform single notes into a beautiful melodious poem. A language of its own. You forget it is a gift to be able to create emotions at your fingertips.

Have you ever wondered why different people fall in love with different types of music, different genres and different songs. My theory is that every person's energy vibrates differently and we are attracted to the music that resonates with the same vibrations that our souls do. And our own personal energy also fluctuates so we find ourselves drawn towards different types of music depending on our mood. However music also has the power to change our moods if we open ourselves to the change.

When I am stressed, it always has the ability to soothe and calm me down. Classical music takes me back to its time, you read a book and travel into the story, and for me music does the same. I live in its ages as the melodies play on.
