The drive for success consists of a persistent powerful passion of commitment. There is a natural disgust that I contain towards the thought of a mediocre life. Yet I cannot fathom how someone can be so committed to something. I have yet to find 'someone' to commit to, as well as a 'career' to commit to. The idea that to become successful, you have to commit to it 100% is easy to comprehend, but nonetheless easier said than done. All my life I've never had to commit to anything except to my family which is not upon choice and thus easy. So then, tell me, how does one commit to something by choice?

Grant Cardone, New York Times best-selling author and international business and sales expert, says we should approach success as a duty, obligation and responsibility. In that sense, success is no longer a choice. The closest thing I've stayed committed to by choice is learning piano, for twelve years, but sadly even that I am no longer continuing this year. This project, 'The Faceless Style', is the next closest thing I've chosen to commit to. And this too, I have struggled in the past week to maintain the drive to continue with inspirational creativity and deliver exceptional work. So no, I must not look at 'The Faceless Style' as a choice, but instead as a duty. And to inspire you all is my obligation and responsibility.

And to inspire all my readers, I shall. I want you all to know that there's nothing wrong with failing to commit, now that you know what you need to do about it. Don't treat it as a choice. Whatever you aspire to do in life, approach it as a duty, obligation and responsibility. And don't just read this and say okay. Drill it into your mind. It's not about wanting it, it's about needing it. You must need it like one needs oxygen to breathe.

A bit over the top? Maybe, but that's the thinking involved if you want to come out on top.
