"Everything will be okay in the end.
If it's not okay, it's not the end."
- John Lennon
Life consists of shades of many colours, and at times you may be served with only grey, like this article here (and let's avoid making any 50 Shades of Grey puns). But like how it is in life, it's what you make of it, and even with just grey, we can create something beautiful. Acquire the skill to see beyond the grey, because if you want to be happy all you have to do is learn to feel happy. Everything is in the mindset. Sometimes in grey is when we see the clearest, to the finest details because colours no longer distract us. After bitter days is when we taste the sweetest joys. Please don't ever feel alone, as we grow older and meet more people who open up to us about their stories, you will learn that no single soul is truly untouched by pain. Learn to be grateful about yesterday, to be blessed for today, and to be hopeful towards tomorrow.
It is strange how I have prepared this post a month in advance, but timing has never been more fitting than in this present moment. This article touches my heart like no other; life is never simple, or easy. There is honestly no simple path to pass through life, but we can make from what we are given. 'Struggle is a beautiful thing. Embrace it as a chance to become stronger'. Stay strong my lovely ones. Go through life with courage and be kind. Bear an understanding heart... Sometimes the world will suddenly crash down upon us, more than once, and our hearts will feel heavy, our breaths drag long, and we are left quivering and shaken. But let these heavy hearts remain strong and kind. Be strong and be kind... because better days are coming.
I have been caught up with a lot of studies and exams in the past few weeks, and then recovering from a surgery (which I will digest further in my next article) but now that Winter Vacation has finally swept in with the cold, it's time to get back down to business. I've got some exciting projects lined up for you sweet peeps: some inspiring collaborations and some more passionate travelling. And it shall be revealed to you all in good time. Hopefully it will lift the spirits a lot more than this article has. For now, here's a nice dose of cold from the city down under.
